Hypnotherapy allows you to access the power of your unconscious (also called subconscious) mind – similar to deep relaxation and meditation – to assist you in making lasting changes on a deeper level .
Hypnotherapy is a completely natural state of mind , which people describe as very relaxing and calming – contrary to popular belief it is not a state of deep sleep, but rather of enhanced awareness. This means, you are fully aware and in full control at all times. Think of how it feels when you daydreaming, which is something every human being does naturally, or when reading a good book and being totally absorbed and focused.
Today, it is generally agreed that hypnosis is ultimately self-hypnosis, this means a hypnotherapist will help you to relax and ‘hypnotise yourself’. When under hypnosis nobody can make you do things you do not want to do – a hypnotherapist will guide you though certain processes (e.g., visualising helpful situations) when you are in a relaxed state and will give you positive suggestions which will support you in making changes in yourself.
Our work utilises and combines the most effective tools from the fields of NLP, EFT, Kinesiology and Hypnotherapy. After getting a clear understanding of your issues; what you would like to change and achieve, we then tailor our approach to suit you and your individual issues.
