Many of us experience depression at some point in their lives. Despite this ‘shared’ experience, we know that depression can feel very lonely.

People experiencing depression are often aware of the many issues that can contribute to feeling depressed. Negative thought patterns, underlying emotional trauma and unsupportive beliefs about yourself all play a role in keeping your mood low rather than feeling good about yourself and your life.

Depression can also be related to circumstances such as coping with the loss of someone close, dissatisfaction at work, family or relationship issues or not having a clear life path for example.

Our approach for depression integrates solution-focused and person-centred counselling as well as NLP coaching.  We aim to equip people with skills and tools that allow them to change their thought patterns and work through underlying issues and emotions, helping them get their life back on track. 

In sessions, we require clients to play an active role in challenging themselves and engaging in sessions, therefore request that clients check their readiness for change.
